The Fakes -- Izchak Wajcman in the middle covering his face and Toshio Moridaira
( wearing a white shirt) in the center. The identity of the other two men is unknown.

The picture below really captured the crux of this situation. The day before the picture was taken, Moridaira told Bill and me at his Moridaira booth that he was not involved with the Bill Lawrence Fender knock-offs being shown at Izchak's booth. The following day, I was standing in front of the Fender booth waiting for Bill, and out of the blue, here comes Moridaira leading two men towards the stairway to the second floor. I thought to myself, "Surely he's not taking them to Izchak's booth?" I decided to follow them, just in case. So I got out my camera, followed them upstairs, and guess what, I found Izchak and Moridaira standing together in a meeting with the two men in the dark coats! I took many shots of their meeting. Izchak and Toshio could have cared less that I took the pictures. They both completely ingnored me. Only when the two men in the dark coats started asking questions did Izchak and Toshio become concerned. After I took the picture below, I told Moridaira now we know that not only is he a thief, he's a liar too, and I'll make him a very famous man in Japan known as crook of the year! After I'd taken the pictures, I got Bill to walk with me by Izchak's booth so the two men in the dark coats would see Bill. THEY know who is Bill Lawrence. Moridaira wanted to hit me he was so angry and yelled some gutteral Japanese at me. To protect me, Bill had to pull me away. It was fun catching the thieves in action.
